Holy shack, you're probably wondering what do I mean by #hacking and of course, who doesn't snack on food! I sound crazy right now, but trust me it's not the hacking you think I am talking about and I promise you I'm not that psycho hacker or geunis computer geek! Yea that confused guy you see here, that's me when it comes to learning computer programming.

Anyways, this might take a while, so stack up on some of your favorite snacks and lets crack down on the idea of hacking! The hacking that I am actually referring to is called the guerilla storytelling 'hacking' technique. Guerilla storytelling is something most people don't hear on a daily basis, but marketers and business employees do for sure! According to my heavy research and readings that my kind professor shared with my fellow classmates, I got to learn and gain a greater understanding about what this weird hacking and guerilla storytelling thing is all about.
To begin with, I'm going to crack it down so that it makes a lot more sense. Guerilla storytelling = #marketing strategy. Of course marketing is all about trying to find ways to brand and advertise products on a low budget and guerilla marketing/storytelling is one technique to grab more attention from customers and communicate through Web 2.0 platforms. Okay, you're probably like, "Hold up girl, what the shack is web 2.0 platforms?!" Web 2.0 platforms are like #Wiki and other #Worldwide Web websites that accentuate "user-generated content, usability (ease of use, even by non-experts), participatory culture and interoperability (this means that a website can work well with other products, systems, and devices) for end users" (Wiki). So web 2.0 platforms actually helps the guerilla marketing technique get around and help out small businesses thrive.
Guerilla marketing and storytelling is a great inexpensive way to grab your audiences attention for anything, especially for a bakery business. It is hard to truly make your bakery grow, even in a populated location. So storytelling on blogs and other web platforms about your bakery and all the goods you make can help on your not so popular bakery into #CarlosBakery (successful bakery business).

That's right, you can be your own boss and promote your products. However, guerilla marketing doesn't always have to be displayed on the web but out on the streets (wall art), street fairs (little markets), posters/stickers (to promote), performance art, and more.
I think it's important on how you tell your story through a hacking/guerilla storytelling technique. It's about stacking up on all of you creative ideas to get people to communicate and share your products through devices and other users. Guerilla marketing is great not only for restaurants, food businesses, but to even sell a novel. Sometimes, your name might not be seen or heard enough. So you as an individual, can share and brand your novel or product on social media by storytelling. Here's one link my professor shared to my classmates and I: https://www.wired.com/2015/10/rachel-hulin-hey-harry-hey-matilda-instagram/ I strongly recommend you to check this blog out and tackle on the Instagram account to get a more clear understanding of this hacking/guerilla storytelling idea.
Now it's your turn! Take a whack at hacking the heck out of your own creative stories to promote your products and to communicate with other users on the web! Remember, the web has your back and sometimes those snacks. #itbelikethat
